One of the only locals left in Crouch End, The Railway Tavern is a beautiful 1930’s mock Tudor pub that has had many of its original features lovingly restored by its owner, who is passionate about reinstating old boozers to their former glory. We aim to deliver excellent food and drink in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and be the best place to meet friends and enjoy yourself in Crouch End.

We are excited to evolve our new food venture further, Roshan’s Kitchen, at The Railway Tavern. With the grace, support and blessings of the Banner’s owners, a selection of chefs from Banner's will be heading up a team cooking and serving you the menu that you know and love with their additional specials. We have our wonderful host Feeb & The Queen back for another Open Mic Night at the pub on Wednesday 17th April from 7:30PM! We have a whole host of instruments for you to pick up and play or you can bring your own!
Come and sign up to play to a room full of like-minded music fans or sit back and enjoy as a member of the audience, whatever suits you!
THE GARDEN
The Railway Tavern garden is a secret gem tucked around the back of the pub, a great place to relax with a cold drink and enjoy the sunshine in the summer or cuddle up with a glass of mulled wine in the winter.
The garden is closed at 11pm and smoking is permitted and we are dog friendly!

What I’d been told was correct, you wouldn’t know the place these days, smart furnishings, decor art on the walls, superb choices of beer and spirits and yes, the food is restaurant quality, you can tell that by the finicky way the food is presented apparently they have a full time proper chef working there and everything is made fresh on the day.
