One of the only locals left in Crouch End, The Railway Tavern is a beautiful 1930’s mock Tudor pub that has had many of its original features lovingly restored by its owner, who is passionate about reinstating old boozers to their former glory. We aim to deliver excellent food and drink in a warm and welcoming atmosphere and be the best place to meet friends and enjoy yourself in Crouch End.

We are excited to evolve our new food venture further, Roshan’s Kitchen, at The Railway Tavern. With the grace, support and blessings of the Banner’s owners, a selection of chefs from Banner's will be heading up a team cooking and serving you the menu that you know and love with their additional specials. Back for another absolutely rafter-filled, barnstorming set, Back To The One return to The Railway Tavern Crouch End for a new show of exciting LIVE music! Maximum funk, grooves and rock all by a brand new collective of musicians. The band will perform at 9PM in the heart of Crouch End at The Railway Tavern and the best part? It's completely FREE!
THE GARDEN
The Railway Tavern garden is a secret gem tucked around the back of the pub, a great place to relax with a cold drink and enjoy the sunshine in the summer or cuddle up with a glass of mulled wine in the winter.
The garden is closed at 11pm and smoking is permitted and we are dog friendly!

What I’d been told was correct, you wouldn’t know the place these days, smart furnishings, decor art on the walls, superb choices of beer and spirits and yes, the food is restaurant quality, you can tell that by the finicky way the food is presented apparently they have a full time proper chef working there and everything is made fresh on the day.
